DISSATISFACTION IN DUNEDIN.

WELLINGTON, June 10,
The defence authorities expect. that the forthcoming review at Christchurch will be taken part in by about nine thousand troops, including about three thousand adult volunteers and one thousand cadets from tbe Wellington, Nelson, and Westland districts. (SFKCIAI TO "THS —3_SS.") DUNEDIN/ June 10. The prospects of anything like a representative attendance of volunteers from Otago and Southland at the parade in Christchuroh are weakening, instead of improving. ' The Southland volunteers are now up-in arms at the proposal that they shall travel in open trucks for -such a distance at this time of the year. They desire that accommodation such as tho railways provide for ordinary passengers shall be given to them.
Tickets for the Park stands on-Monday, on the occasion of the review, will be available to the public on Wednesday next at 12 o'clock.
Application has been made to .the Mayor with lrlspect to aoooimnodating the rela.tives of returned troopers on the stand to be erected in the Park on the occasion of the review. The Mayor hai? replied that the Committee are not providing any free accommodation on the Park stands. That is in the hands of the Government, to whom application should be made.
