LYTTELTON.
The Mayor of Lyttelton stated at last night's meeting of the Lyttelton. Council that the wharf at which the Royal visitors landed would not be covered in unless the weather was wet. Cr. Kay protested against the ratepayers' money bring spent in preventing the people of Lyttelton from seeing the Duke and Duchess. The Coaincil resolved to declare Saturday and Monday as holidays.
