MOURNING IN SOUTH AFRICA.
Saturday was observed as a solemn, fast holiday throughout Cape Colony and Natal. The Queen's statues in Capetown, Durban, and Pietermaritzburg were wreathed. Five thousand Indians gathered st the foot of the statue in Durban, and delivered eulogiums upon her late Majesty 'id six of their d_al«-ta.

MEMORIAL SERVICES ABROAD. ST. PZ'T-RSBURG, February 4. The Czar _a*d Czarina attended funeral ?ervices at the English and American Churches in St. Petersburg. LONDON, February 4. Q\\m Olga, at Athens, and the Khedival Vriumt at C-airo, representatives of the bead of the State, Ministers and Ambassadt.rs, attended English services at other capitals, and there was » similar attendance of local authorities and princely visitors. In every oonsular district, and at all health resorts, all creeds joined in the services. Similar services took place in Canada and other colonies, and India. A parade of the British and foreign troops was held at tfekin, where an English service was conducted, at which there was a representative attendance.
