The North Canterbury Co-operative Stores Company held a clearing sale for Mr S. Kingsbury, Cust, on Thursday. Prices were:—Two and four-tooth wethers, 16s 10d to 18s lid, lambs 14s 7d, two, four, and sixtooth ewes, 15s; ewes and lambs, all count, 15s Id; full-mouth ewes 14s 3d, two-tooth ewes 16s Id, do prime 18s 9d. Draught horses from £28 to £46, yearlings £16. fat cows to £8 10s, steers £5. milch cows £5 12s 6d, calves 20s breeding sows 355. Implements at satisfactory rates.
