1 United Press Association—By Elo-trie Telegraph—Copyright. (Received January 14th, 9.11 a.m.) LONDON, January 13. The price of New Zealand meat is unchanged. River Plate advanced l-16th d. Hemp—lrregular; New Zealand, on spot, £21. For hides there was poor competition, and the bulk was withdrawn. Leather is quiet at 9_!d. Tho imports of lead for the month were 13,371 tons (including 5480 tons from Australia), and the exports 2769 tons. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, have received the following cable message from their London office, under date 11th inst.: — "Frczen meat—Prices are unchanged. '•Leather and basils—Good demand, at full prices. "Wheat—The market is easier." (PRESS ASSOCIATION* TELEGRAM.) Hj--,IINGTON. January 14. The Department of Agriculture has received the following cable message from the Agent-General, under yesterday's date : —The average price for choicest butter is Ills, and the demand is good. Cheese, 535; market good. Buyers of cheese are holding back, expecting prices to lower. The hemp market is steady; good fair Wellington, £21 10s. The stock in London on 31st December was 1537 tons, as against 109 tons last year. Fair current Manila, £29 10s; 5t0ck,"20,797 tons, as against 9998 tons last year. Cocksfoot —Market very dull at 345." Wheat and oats are .'firmer."
