The Town Clerk was instructed to serve final notice on the owners of property adjoining Marriott's road to clear the gorse. It was also decided to instruct the ranger to visit North New Brighton, and prosecute the owners of cattle found straying. The Council decided to write to the secretary to the Pier Company drawing his attention to the dangerous state of the fishing stage at the end of the pier. _ The Town Clerk was authorised to issue permits to stall holders for the gala to be held on the 19th inst., and it was decided to request tho police to see that no unlicensed stall holders were allowed to sell goods.
