MINISTERS' MOVEMENTS.

(press association* telegram.) WELLINGTON, December 3. The Hon.*J. G. Ward returned from the South yesterday. The Premier will deliver an address at Reefton to-night. Tlie latent reports from Shag Point tell of the" continued progress of tbe Hon. J. M'Kenzie towards recovery. He talks of visiting Cheviot and other settlements at an early date.

Mr Ward leaves far Auckland to-morrow or Wednesday, and will ba absent a fortnight.
