AMBULANCE ASSOCIATION
A monthly meeting of the Committee ol the St. John Ambtr.a_i<3e Associatios was held on Tuesday at the City Ce_fl_i3 Chambers. Present.—Mesdames . Jti-ssv Nashe-ski, MissPhenev, Captain 6_a_. Messrs Jfekyll and J. D. Bark-*_v Oaptdii Garsia was -voted to the chair. The Secretary read the letter to the chief sewetary r* nomenclature of the Wellington branch, that branch desiring to take the name of Bletfupohtan Centre, in which it was pointed out that the Canterbury branch- highly, valued the title conferred upeaj it, in recognition of the fact that the branch was the. first to start ambulance work here. The number of cases attended to by tha __nbukn«? during the_ q-uarter had been twenty-two infaliand four accident cases.
