THE CYCLE BOARDS BILL.
The following replies have been received by the Secretary of the New, Zealand Cyclists' Touring Club, Mr F. D. Kesteven, to telegrams forwarded containing resolutions passed at the meeting of cyclists recently, requesting the Government to take up the Cycle Boards Bill: —"Wellington, September 7th. lam in receipt of your telegram forwarding resolution j>assed at a meeting, of cyclists requesting Government to take up Cycle Boards Bill. At this stage of the session and in view of the large number of Government Bills already before Parliament this is, I think, rather a large order. I will however, submit the matter to Cabinet for consideration." (Signed) R. J. Seddon." "Thanks for telegram and assistance. Only by the Government taking charge of the Bill or giving mc special facilities can it be passed this session." (Signed) George Fowlds."
