WELLINGTON, July 9. The Bubonic Plagua Prevention Act, ■which was paa?ed as an urgent measure at the commencement of the session, has now been put in force throughout New Zealand, the Government deeming it desirable to compel the local authorities in the various centres of the colony to act with promptitude.
