REINFORCEMENTS FOR PLUMER. (Received Apnl 19th, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, April 18. MafeMng was well and resolute on the 11th iast. A hundred mounted police have left Salisbury to reinforce Colonel Plumer's column. ADVANCE OF A SMALL BOER FORCE. Three hundred Boers are approaching Smithfield, about 40 miles north-eaet of Bethulie. THE PRISONERS AT PRETORIA. A hundred and fifty prisoners are ill at Pretori^. A LACK OF TRUCKS. (Received April 20th, 12.25 a.m.) LONDON, April 19. The want of trucks is delaying Lord Roberta's supplies. SICKNESS IN THE BRITISH ARMY. There are two thousand patients in the field hospital at Bloemfontein suffering from dysentery and enteric fever.
