FOOTBALL.

The adjourned annual meeting of the Kaiapoi Footbal Club was held on,Thurs- > day ; Mr G. H. Blackwell presiding. The annual report showed the receipts to have been £51, credit balanco £4 3s 7d, asset* valued at £37. The Park Committee reported receipts for year £122 4s-Bd, expenditure £121 13s 8d ; improvements had been made to.the Park ot-sting £120, exclusive of the outlay on cycle track. The officers elected for ensuing year were :~ President, Mr G. H. Blackwell ; vicepresidents, Messr* R. Moore, R. Hopkins, and D. Buddo, M.H.R. ; captain, Mr, R. J. Alexander; vice-captain, Mr M, Lynskeyj secretary, Mr B. R 11 ; treasurer, Mr M. Lvnskey ; managing -committee, Messra G. T. Leithead, T. Clothier, G. Forrest, W. Simpson ; delegates to C.R.U., :Messrs CaverhilL Lynskey, Horsfall and *Roll; selection committee, Messra Lynskey and McGregor. It was resolved to> arrange for foreign match at Easter if sufficient players offered.
