Very little -interest was evinced in this match, as it appeared only a how much the Midlonders would win by. Sydenham, in their second inningi, mad made 37 for three wickets, a<nd on contiwMg on Saturday they carried their total to 177 before the lai'i wicket fell. Reese added 14 to his previous total. Fowke was top acorer with 43, got by careful play. Halley played his usual vigorous game for 31, whilst Love, Gasson, and' West all batted nicely for their runs. The Midlanders fielded very well.
