— 1 Tho Associated Corps' Challengo Shield matches set down for Saturday last were: -— City Guards v Cky Rifles, Engineers v Imperial Rifles. College Rifles v E Battery, and Mounted Rifles v Sydenham Rifles. Of these the only match fired was the City Guards v City Rifles, th.3 E Batten,-, haperial Rifles and Sydenham Rifles forfeiting their matches. The match resulted in a win for the City Rifles by 11 points. The ammunition used by both toSms was colonial, j November, 1838.
