If, however, the weather keeit fine from now till the day, the tracks wm be in fair order. All the teams but th»i from South Canterbury have arrived. Th. arrangements are nil complete, and if tL* day be fine there is aure to be a big attend ance. The Canterbury men, with the es« ception of Overtoil (who arrived tins even* ing with the manager, Mr Gtierson), w«fc out doing easy exercise this morning! All are fit, and expect to do well. Dunedin expects to win the banner, after a clom fight with Auckland ; but Canterbury show up well. * H,U
