AQUATICS.
The* committee of the Chriatchurch Regatta Club has reinstated ,in its programme the senior fours' race, struck out by a vote at a former meeting.
The trial pair oar race in connection with the Chrutchurch Amateur Rowing Club was rowed off on the river on Monday and Tuesday evening. The first heat resulted in a win for Messrs A. B. , Menzies and E. H. Whitmore, who defeated W. I. Mitchell and C. Nixon. In the second heat Messrs W. Muecrove and L. P. White beat F. J. and F. H. Musgrove after a splendid race right through.- The final resulted in a win for W. Musgrove and L. P. White, who bead A. B. Menzies and E. H. Whitmore after a fast race. *
