CURIOUS ELECTRIC ACCIDENT.

A peculiar accident has occurred at Hamburg. It seems that the wire* of an electric tramway, which are suspended across a certain, thoroughfare, suddenly broke, and a piece of wire fell on to an iron bar in front of the window of a cocoa-room. Reports like pistol shots were heard, and several persons were injured by electric shocks. "A panic ensued, and several ladies fainted with fright.
