THE SAMARITAN HOME.

TO the editor of the press. Sir,—As the holidays are drawing near' will you please allow mc to call the attention of the benevolent public to "the inmates of the Samaritan Home. •We can provide them with necessities but no more, therefore I trust that in the preparation for the usual festivities a little will be spared for us by those who are always willing to help such as are less fortunate than themselves Anything will be gratefully received and acknowledged. We have about thirty-six women and children, for whom all sorts of garments will be gladly received, and there are also some men very destitute of clothes and boots. P-ease don't forget us. Things may be sent direct to the Home or to the writer, or we will send for them as may suit the giver.—Yours, &_., H. B. SORENSEN.
