CANTERBURY MUSEUM.

Through the courtesy of Captain Wilson, of B.s. Onda, the Indian section of the Canterbury Museum has been enriched by the addition of some very rare and ancient figures of Buddha, found by Captain Wilson himself, in a cave near Maulmain, Burma, and a basket made from an elephant's foot. The figures of Buddha are, nt least, 600 years old, and comprise one in white marble, onj© in wood, and two in terra cotta or clay.
