At the &.mberley ?«arket on Monday there was an entry of 2500 sheep, which were sold as follows:—3ss freezing wethers at 153 6d, .172 do at 15s, 59 maiden ewes at 15a, 320 wethers at 14s 6d, 120 forward wethers at 12s sd, 300 two and four-tooth wethers at lie 6d, 250 merino wethers at 8s 9d to 9s 3d, 113 fall mouth ewes at 7s 6d, forward hoggets 7s to 8s 3d. Fifty acres of land known as Mr Guthrie's farm, at Sefton, were sold by Mr P. C. Tabart at Amberley, and realised £16 15s per <<ere. The pxirchaser waa Mr Wm. Buss, of Rangiora.
