(press association telegrams.) FEILDING, June 13. At Apiti, on Saturday, a young man named Frank Donald, while playing footWl, ran into another player with his head down. In the collision Donald received a serious spinal injury, and had to be sent to the hospital. WELLINGTON, June 13. At the inquest on the Chinaman Ying ring, death was shown to have resulted from congestion of the lungs, opium smoking w»d want ot food. The wound on his head h*d nothing to do with it. Dr. Cahill, in giving evidence, protested against the want of accommodation at the police depot for drunken patients, and against the practice of sending sufferers from drink to the hospital amongst the other patients. DUNEDIN, June 13.
William Seager, a labourer, died very wddenly at Loveil's Flat. An inquest is Owmed unnecessary.
