At a meeting of the Canterbury Trotting Club, on Wednesday, the balance-sheet for the itay Meeting was read, and it was shown that there was a profit of £177, which must be deemed highly satisfactory. The committee had Mr Ouff before them, and it was decided that through allowing HazeldeanUo gallop during the Final Harness Race, which he finished second, the second money* be awarded to Stockholm, and the third to Isabel, and that a letter be written to the South Island Trotting Association asking them to cancel that driver's license. A programme was drawn up for the August Meeting, to be held at New Zealand Grand National time, and the amount of stakes fixed at £1200. Included in the prize list, there will be a Free-for-all, of llOsovs, a Nursery Race, of 70sovs, for three-year-olds, both races with flying starts. A high-class handicap, with a lOsec limit, has also been included.
