PRESENTATIONS.

Mr C. C. Smithson has been presented by the officers of the North Canterbury Oddfellows , district with a handsome marble clock, in recognition of his services to the Order while occupying the P.G.M. chair. The Leeston Oddfellows have presented Mr Smithson with a purse of sovereigns. At a social held in the Leeston Lodge room on Friday night, the district officers and visitors from several Lodges were present arid several eulogistic speeches were made. On Wednesday evening last the employees of Acton station, Rakaia, presented the late manager, Mr W. L. Allen, with a pair of candelabra and a handsome marble clock, as a token of their respect and esteem.
