NONCOMMISSIONED OFFICERS' CLUB. The annuat meeting of the Non-Commis-sioued Officers' Club was held last night, when there was an attendance of eighteen members. Sergeant-Major Barrett presided. The balance sheet showing the receipts to be £9 19s 9d, and the expenditure £6 12s, w*as adopted. On the motion of Colour-Sergeant Bean it was decided to write off all outstanding subscriptions for the six months up to and including February last. This course was taken largely owing to the faot that the Club has been practically dormant for some six months past. Officers for the ensuing year were elected as under:—Patron, Lieutenant-Colonel Gordon; president, Sergeant-Major Barrett; vicepresident, Sergeant-Major Foster; secretary, Colour-Sergeant Steere ; treasurer, Sergeant Mathias; auditor, Corporal Woodfield. Colour-Sergeant Bean gave notice of motion —" That five members form tho committee, three of whom shall form a quorum." It was decided to hold a special meeting on next Wednesday night for the purpose of considering this proposal. Sergeant-Major Foster gave notice of motion —" That the night of the regular meeting be changed." It was decided to hold the annual social at a date to be fixed, after the Easter encampment.

A team of twelve men of the N Battery, under the command of Corporal Taylor, went South by the express yesterday morning to Port Chalmers to hold a shooting competition with the Port Chalmers Navals.

The annual meeting of the College Rifles will be held in their orderly room at 8 p.m. to-night.
