PERSONAL ITEMS.
Mr J. Gilruth, Government veterinary surgeon, was a passenger for Dunedin by the express yesterday.
Mr J. Griffiths, of Wellington, was a passenger by the same train. The Rev. F. W. Isitt went South by the express.
Mr F. I. Cowlishaw went to Dunedin yesterday to attend the Jubilee regatta.
Mr and Mra G. H. Rhodes, who are shortly about to proceed to England, were passengers from the South by the express last night.
Mr Pringle, of Oamaru, arrived by the same train.
The Hon. W. C. Walker was a passenger to Wellington by the Waihora yesterday. Dr. Penuefather went North by the same steamer.
Major Harrie arrived yesterday by the Manapouri from Wellington. Mr and Mrs A. P. Woodd arrived yesterday on a trip from England. Inspector Broham and Mra Broham returned from the North by the Manapouri yesterday.
The Hon. Matthew Holmes was a passenger to Lyttelton by the Manapouri.
