SENIOR CUP MATCHES.

UNITED v. LANCASTER PARK. The match between the elevens of the above Clubs was continued at Hagley Park on Saturday, when an interesting afternoon's cricket was witnessed. With one wicket down for 54, the United continued their second innings, Mendelson (35) and Reeves (17) being the not outs on the previous Saturday. Principally through the former's efforts the total was taken to 86 before a separation was effected by Reeves being given out leg before wicket for a splendidly played 23. Sims, who followed, was soon dismissed, and with the score at 92 Mendelson was run Out for a well played , 59. After his dismissal R. D. Harman exhibited good form in compiling his 23, and Frankish, T. D. Harman and Cotterill all reaching double figures, enabled their side to reach- the fair total of 182. Wilding, though expensive at times, proved the most successful bowler, and Bennett trundled very steadily, but without any luck. Wanting 179 runs to win, the Park began their second innings shortly after five o'clock, aud at the call of time they had made 50 for the loss of three wickets. Tho Hon. E. C. J. Stevens and Mr W. D.
