LAWN TENNIS.
On Saturday last a most enjoyable match was played between the Cranraer square and Linwood clubs, at the latter club s courts,' Stanmore road, when, after some very good and exciting games, the Cranmer square club won by a majority of 41 games. The follow*ing are the results :— ' Singles—Barlow (L.) beat Collins (C). 9—5; Grossman (C.) beat Ferguson (L-j, 9—6; Ross (C.) beat Sinclair (L.), 9—6; Laurie (C) beat Kiver (L.), 9—4; Sfcyohe (C.) beat McLeod (L.), 9—5; Jackson (L.) beat Garsia (C), 9—6; Sutcliffe (C.) b6at Bristed (L.), 9—2; Perry (V.) beat Moor (L.), 9—4.
