The Standard's Athens correspondent wires that Prince George's appointment as Governor of Crete is virtually assured.
Received March 20th, 5.15 p.m. London, March 19. Russia is urging England and France to co-operate in the loan of thirty million francs to cover Prince George's expenses in the Governorship of Crete.
