The final payment for the Dunedin Cup must be made to-day. Nominations close for the Feilding, Nelson and Gisborne meetings to-day. ' Gold Medallist was on board the Waihora, which reached Lyttelton from the North on Saturday, and the colt waa taken on in the steamer to Dunedin to fulfil his Eclipse Stakes engagement. Chaafe, who rides St. Paul in the Dunedin Cup, was a passenger on the steamer.
