Friday, March 18. (Before R. Beetham, Esq., S.M., and J. R. Campbell, Esq., J.P.)

CrviL Cases.—George Kennedy v James Leahy, claim £1617s 6d for forty-five weeks' arrears for the maintenance of illegitimate child. Defendant stated he was unable to nay up the arrears but would endeavour to if given time. Case adjourned for one month for defendant to arrange as to payment. Robert Harney v Geo. Hannaford, claim £2, for damages for illegally pounding off a road not dedicated to either of the local authorities. Mr Russell for the plaintiff, Mr Izard for defendant. W. G. Lunn gave evidence to the effect that- the road was not dedicated in the Road Board, »ut is a public road and used as such. After wldressing the Conrtthe Bench took time to consider the decision. Geo. Gourley v Geo. Galyer, claim £2 10s for service of horse. Judgment for plaintiff for amount claimed.
