THE MELBOURNE FIRE.
United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph— Copyright. Received March 17th, 10 a.m. Melboubne, March 17. At the enquiry into the recent disastrous fire, a witness stated that he saw a gentleman leave the rear of Craig and Williamson's in a hurry at ten o'clock on the night of the fire. The firm are unable to throw any light on the statement.
