ALLEGED CRUELTY TO A BOY.

Mr and Mrs Healey were charged at the Supreme Court to-day with ill-treating a boy named Albert v Green, who was placed in their charge. The trial was deferred for several sessions to enable a certificate of the boy's birth to be probured from England. This showed that he was fourteen years of age on January Ist, and consequently came within the scope of the Act. The case is not yet finished.
