THE VOLUNTEERS.
. An open field day on the range oi the Honorary Reserve Corps, Cashmere, took place yesterday. A gusty sou-wester blew across the range, entirely upsetting the calculations. At 500 yds, 4ft 6in to sft 6in had to be allowed for windage, and at 600 yds 7ft and Bft was allowed by such men as Wakeliu, M'Kay, Batchelor, and others. In point of entries the meeting was scarcely a success. The following are the results :—
