THE HON. J. G. WARD.

In our telegraphic report of the judgment gfven at Invercargill by District Judge Ward in the application of J. G. Ward for his discharge, his Honour was made to say —"I trust that these proceedings will show the futility of. tho accusations made elsewhere." What hia Honour did say was — "I presume the reason for not bringing forward the accusations was that their futility had been discovered. After the explanation in the Assignee' 3 report it appears to mc there is no sufficient cause for delaying the order of di?charge, which I consequently grant."
