ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

A young lady, named Miss Mary Duncan, was riding along Hteh street on a bicycle on Tuesday, when she was knocked over by a horse and cart, the wheel passing quite close to her. The tram was passing at the time, and it was very difficult for the driver of the cart to see the cyclist. Constable Field assisted the young lady to some refreshment rooms near by, where, after a short rest, she recovered sufficiently from her fall to be able to ride home.

Mr Jeremiah Daly, a well-known and highly esteemed farmer, dropped dead at his homestead, Lauriston, yesterday afternoon.
