Drunkenness. —James Campbell, who had been undergoing medical treatment, was fined be, with 12a 6d expenses, or in default forty-eight hours' imprisonment. Larckny.— Thomas Haynes was charged with this offence. Mr Malley appeared for him, and applied to have the amount so reduced as to bring the offence wif.hin the jurisdiction of the Justices, but the alteration was refused. Herbert Glasson, manager for R. Lochhead, deposed that the accused was employed to dispose of sewing machines on commission, his duty being to hand over without deduction all moneys received.
