Monte Video, August 26.
Senoi , Borda, President of Uruguay, was assassinated when leaving a national thanksgiving service at Monte Video Cathedral. A youth named Arrendendo fired a revolver, the shot penetrating Senor Bocda's heart, and killing him instantly. The murderer was immediately arrested.
