Betting : 9 to 4 agst Keenan, 5. to 2 Diakka, 5 to 1 Strensall, 6 to 1 Chasseur, 10 to 1 Mack Briggs. After five or six failures, Miss Fraser jumped off in front of Chasseur, Reenan, Merman, and Diakka, with Lady Ernie last. This order was soon altered, as Merman and Strensall drew into second and third places from Chasseur, with Lady Ernie going oa next and Keenau dropping into the rear behind Diakka, Lord Grosvenor and Maok Briggs. At the bottom turn Miss Prase.: continued to show the way from Siren-: Ball, Merman and Lady Ernie, with Chasseur and Diakka now on their heels, and Lord Grosvenor and Keena& on the outside. The load was scoured by .Strensall a quarter of a mile from homo, but he quickly resigned again to Miss Fraser, who. was passed at the distance by Chasseur j and Diakka. The favourite had been always ■ in more or less trouble, and with Diakw quickly wearing down Chasseur, he won easily at the finish by a length and a-luil/; four lengths between Second and third. Strer.sall was fourth, Merman fifth, Lord Grosvenor sixth, and Maok Briggs tailed off, Time by Benson's chronograph, lmin 4_.ee,
