♦ - (PBESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) AUCKLAND, August 22. At a meeting of shareholders of the Great Barrier Gold aud Silver Company to-day an agreement was entered into by the Directors with the New Zealand and Johannesburg syndicate for the pooling for six months of 50,000 shares,which are to be received should the Otago syndicate, which at present have the property under option, purchase. It was discussed that the agreement gives the Johannesberg syndicate power to purchase the Vhares daring six months at £1.
