Queensland 4 per cent., 114; 3$ per cent., 106. Tasmanian 8£ per cent., 108&. Western Australian 8£ per cent., 11l ; New Zealand 4 per cent., 115f; 3£ per cent., 106£; 3 per cent., 100£.

New Zealand mutton is unchanged ; lamb 5Jd.

Butter is slow of sale. The quotations are 90s to 945. A few lots have been sold at 965.

Cheese is quieter, the high prices having checked the demand; New Zealand is quoted at 565. Hemp is unchanged.

The English wheat market is quiet but steady ; the Continental has a downward tendency and the American is dull.

Californian No. 1 milling wheat, 38s ; Russian, 31s ; London quotation for No. i hard Duluth, 84s 6d ; New York quotation for No. 2 red winter wheat, 76cents.

Colonial oats—Fine quality 255, common 21s. Beans 325. Peas—Victorian dun 275. The Bradford wool market has a downward tendency.

Sugar—German beet 8s IOJd, Java 11s 3£d. Iron 45s 7£d.

The proposed American wool syndicate is ridiculed in Bradford wool circles. It is stated that the leading American purchasers are unaware of its formation, and there is expected to be a good American demand at Tuesday's sales.
