JUNIOR CUP MATCHES.

The match Midland v St. Albans -was brought to a conclusion at Hagley Park on Saturday, when the former won by an innings and 37 runs. Scores :—St. Albans 105 and 56 (Frith 21 not out and G. Ritchie 12); Midland 198. Johnston and Barry bowled well for the Midland.

The contest between the Lancaster Park and Post and Telegraph was continued at Lancaster Park, and at the call of time the game was still unfinished. Scores :—Post and Telegraph 52 (J. McGuire 12 and King 10) and 206 for seven wickets (Treweek 126 not out, McGuire 23, and P. Mansell 31); Lancaster Park 129 (Bates 20, Quinn 14, M. Steeds 13, Mason 18, Tolan 12, Bromley 11. and Weir 10). Mason and Bromley bowled well for the Park, and Mansell and Treweek for the Post and Telegraph. The match will be continued at 5 o'clock this evening.
