(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON, March 4."■. The Wesleyan Conference was opened this evening. Delegates were present from all parts of the colony. The Rev. W. Baumber, the retiring President, delivered an address dealing chiefly with the onion of the Methodist Churches which was brought about last year. The Rev. P. W. Fair- / clough, of Kaiapoi, was elected President for the ensuing year, and the Rev. D. J. Murray Secretary ot the Conference.
