BRITISH NAVY ESTIMATES.
Press AssoelatlOD—By Telegraph—Copyright. London, March 8. The British Navy Estimates have been submitted to the House of Commons. The total amount required for the year is £21 ,888,000. The number of men is to be increased by 6300, and a sum of seven millions is to be expended on the construction of new comprising four line of battle ships, three cruisers, and two torpedo boat destroyers. The forma- *■■ tion of a trained reserve foroe will be commenced. At present there are one hundred and eight vessels of aU classes ia coarse of construction.
