xmrasDAY, march 4. (Before W. H. Cooper, J. Palmer, and E. O'Connor, Esqs., J.P.'s.) Drunkenness.—A first offender was fined 5s and costs, in default twenty-four hours' imprisonment. Reuben White was con« victed and discharged, Adjutant Bishop, of the Salvation, undertaking to take him to to the Salvation Army Home. Patrick Faulls, for whom Mr Beattie appeared, waa sentenced to one month's imprisonment with hard labour.

Civil Cases.—Butterfield v Boon, claim £6 4s, for goods supplied; Mr Caygill appeared for the plaintiff, for whom judgment was given for £6, with costs. Denne v Hughes, claim £10, for work done; Mr Cresswell for the plaintiff, Mr Hunt for the defendant, who put in a counter claim of £12 14s for board and lodging; judgment | was for plaintiff for £7 3s, with costs. Duncan v JBlakemore, claim £1 for balance of an account; judgment was for plaintiff for 14s 9d and costs. Danks v "Rogers, claim 13s 4d for goods supplied; judgment was for plaintiff for 11b 4d, with costß. Saville and Co. v Walter, claim £4 4a for repairing cycles, &c.; Mr Kippenberger appeared for the plaintiffs, for whom | judgment was given for £3 3s 6d, with costs. Judgments went for plaintiffs by default, with costs, in Walter A.
