Colonel Pole Pertton is gazetted Com* raandanb of the New Zealand Forces. Lieutenant Maddocks is. appointed. Majoi in the New Zealand Militia, and to the general staff of the Now Zealand Forces as Staff Officer to the Commander of the Forces. Farther regulations for the adjustment of compasses and licensing of adjusters, also regulations for the examination of engineers are gazetted. Amended regulations under which Commissions in the British Army may be obtained by officers of colonial local Military Forces, and by students from colonial , • universities, are gazetted. . . ,
