Thursday, December 17. (Before R. Beetham, Esq., S.M.) PnoniniTiON Oudek.—An order of this kind was made against William White, to be current in Christchurch and suburb.? for one year. Civil Cases.—Forest v Mrs E. Allen, claim £4 18s for commission on the sals of a property. Mr Scott appeared for the plaintiff, Mr Caygill for the defendant, who pleaded that she had not giveu the plaintiff instructions to sell, and there being no evidence corroborative of plaintiff's statement, he was nonsuited with costs £1 Is against him. Judgments went for plaintiffs by default, with costs, in Walter A. Wood and Co. v Mann, £25 13s sd; Lyttelton Times Co. v King, £5 ISs 4d; same v Young and Co., £39 14s Gd ; Smith and Co. v Leslie and Co., £20 15s . Beath and Co. v Muir, £9 11s 4d, and Cook and Gray v Gallagher, £3 10d. Victoria Brewery Co. v Trelawney, claim £6 Is, on judgment summons ; Mr Mills appeared for the creditor; the debtor did not appear and was ordered to pay the amount, or in default three weeks' iriprisonmejjt, committal to be suspended if the debtor paid £1 per week till the liquidation of the debt. Allen v Reddington, claim £11 4s 2d on judgment summons; Mr Hunt appeared for the creditor; the debtor, who did not appear was ordered to pay forthwith, or in default five weeks' imrisonment. Rowe v Humphreys was adjourned till December 19th ; W. A. Wood and Co. v Fitzgerald, same v Stuart, and Excelsior Boot Manufacturing Co. v Pearpoint till January 7th, Forrester v ESey till February 15th.
