On Sunday a young man named FleweHen, son of Constable Flcwellen, of Richmond, was riding a bicycle down the hill to Sumner, from Lyttelton, when he lost control of his machine and received a severe fall. He lay for sopie time unconscious, but afterward* managed to walk to Sumner, where Memn Phillips and Carter attended to his wounds, which consisted of two cuts on the head.
