UPPER RICCARTON CLUB.
The annual meeting of the Upper Riccarton Club was held at the Racecourse Hotel on September sth. Mr J. Woods was in the chair. The accounts showed a balance of £1 Is 9d, and the report was adopted. The officers elected were:—President, the Rev. W. P. T. Winter: Vice-Presidents, Sir G. Clifford, Messrs G. W. Russell, M.H.R., G. G. Stead, E. G. Staveley, T. Bassett, G. Burrows, P. Campbell, J. A. Holmes, W. B. Clai-kson, J. O. Beckett, A. Sefton, J. Woods, T. Coverdale, R. Mason, E. Cutts, J. Jarman, R. Reay, H. Lunn ; Captain, J. Hanson; Sub-Captain, E. O'Farrell; Secretary and Treasurer, G. Christmas ; Ground and Selection Committee, Messrs J. Hanson, E. O'Farrell and G. Christmas. It was decided to enter for the President's Cup. A number of new members were elected.
