This match took place at Woodend on Saturday afternoon, and ended in & win for the home team by 16. poiuts (one potted goal, one goal from a try, one goal from a mark, aud one try) to 5 points (one goal from a try). W. Uru potted the goal, converted a try and a mark by Miller, and Russell obtained the unconverted try. The try for Merivale was obtained by Greenslade and converted by Spring,."■
