A FINE TROUT.
An angler informs bhe Otago Daily Times that when fiahina the Waiau river, near its exit from Lake Manapouri, he saw a trout taken wbioh weighed 241b. Ib waa-36in long over all, 32in to insertion of tail, and 23in in girth—-somewhat more than the waistof the average girl of the period. These figures are guaranteed rather under over the mark.
